Visit Culver’s of Huntley on Rt. 47 between 4-8 p.m., dine-in or drive-thru, and a percentage of the proceeds will go to the Friends Foundation. National Volunteer Week - April 21-27, 2013

Over 80 volunteers worked 5,056 hours in the last fiscal year, amounting to over $110,000 in savings for library! Volunteers are an integral part of the library’s team, helping with office work, shelving items, reading programs, and fundraising. In 2012 the Friends Foundation’s 250 members raised over $50,000 for the library. Over the last year, library volunteers saved taxpayers $160,000. The next time you visit the library and see someone wearing a green “Volunteer” badge, be sure to thank them for all they do.
