CRYSTAL LAKE – Centegra Health System will host two free wellness lectures in April.

Community members are welcome to hear doctors speak about kidney conditions and colon health.

A normal kidney has many jobs including filtering blood, regulating minerals within the blood and producing hormones. If the kidney stops doing its job, one can be left with multiple health problems. Dr. Amit Arora, an independent nephrologist on the medical staff at Centegra Health System, will discuss the causes and symptoms associated with certain kidney conditions and the treatment options available. “Are Your Kidneys Wasting Time” will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 2 at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center – Huntley, 10450 Algonquin Road.
