Marengo woman sentenced in 2011 gas station robbery
WOODSTOCK – A woman who robbed a Marengo gas station with a BB gun in October 2011, the investigation of which also led to sexual abuse charges, was sentenced Thursday to six months in jail.
Christina E. Sutter, 28, of Marengo, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and one count of criminal sexual abuse. In addition to the jail time, she must complete four years of probation and register as a sex offender for 10 years.
Sutter was given credit for about 43 days already served in custody. The remaining time must be served in its entirety; she will not receive day-for-day credit.
