WOODSTOCK – A former Lakemoor man remained in custody at the McHenry County Jail on Friday after police said he sexually assaulted a young girl in the mid-1990s.

Nathan R. Tuggle, 33, of Buffalo, Minn., is charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and aggravated criminal sexual assault of a child. His bond was set at $75,000; he must post $7,500 to be released.

The alleged victim, who was a family member younger than 13 years old at the time, recently came forward to police, said Sgt. Mike Cisner of the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
