ISBDC announces April small business offerings

McHENRY – Registration is under way for seminars in April being offered by the Illinois Small Business Development Center at McHenry County College.

• Starting a Business in Illinois, 6 to 8 p.m., April 9: An information-packed evening for anyone interested in starting his own business. An ISBDC experienced instructor will discuss many of the basics pertaining to entrepreneurship, as well as distribute various handouts with agencies and resources available to help small business owners. Cost: $25.

• Social Media for Small Business, 6 to 8 p.m., April 17: Have questions about social media? Want hands-on help? Bring your questions to the computer classroom and work with a social media expert. Learn new ways to reach and engage an online audience and boost your bottom line through the use technologies like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Plus. Cost: $35.
