Powerball jackpot winner validates ticket

PASSAIC, N.J. – New Jersey Lottery officials say the lone winning ticket for a $338.3 million Powerball jackpot has been validated.

Lottery officials said the ticket holder went to Eagle Liquors in Passaic and had the ticket validated at around 4:30 p.m. Monday. The liquor store is where the ticket was sold. But the officials said they don’t yet know the winner’s name.
