CHICAGO – A unique charter high school is sending all its graduating seniors from a second Chicago campus to college.

Since 2010, all of Urban Prep's graduates from its Englewood neighborhood school have been accepted to four-year colleges and universities. This year its inaugural graduate class from its West campus near downtown will be following in their footsteps. A third campus will have graduating seniors next year.

In a statement, the school says all of Urban Prep's 167 seniors have been accepted to a four-year college or university.

The school claims to be the nation's first public charter high school comprised entirely of black males.

During the year, as students are accepted to schools, they exchange their red ties for red and gold striped ones. A tie ceremony is scheduled for Thursday.
