Detectives investigate L.A. girl’s abduction

Published: Saturday, March 30, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

LOS ANGELES – Nearly 50 detectives hunted Friday for clues to kidnappers who snatched a 10-year-old girl from her bedroom and dumped her, scratched and barefoot, miles from her home.

Detectives worked around the clock to determine whether the abduction was random and whether there was a connection to the kidnapping of cousins of the girl five years ago by their fathers.

The girl has said the two men who kidnapped her Wednesday were strangers, police said.
