Little progress

To the Editor:

I am a longtime resident of McHenry, and am sure glad that we have a mayoral election on April 9. I can’t believe the number of vacant buildings along Route 120. While the mayor has spent the past 10 years focusing on the Riverwalk, Walmart has moved to Johnsburg, Green Street continues to deteriorate, and we have become known as the town of second-hand stores, tattoo parlors and indoor rifle ranges.

Wow, McHenry sure has made a lot of progress in the past 10 years. It is time for a change. Let’s all vote for Steve Cuda on April 9.
