Alderman supports Cuda

To the Editor:

Since 1997, I have been representing Ward 2 as well as the rest of the city of McHenry as the senior alderman.

Being the only one to have served with the last three mayors, all with different agendas, I can assure you that Steve Cuda, by far, has been the best leader for our city in the past 20 years.

With the crunch in the economy, our neighboring communities lobbying for our businesses (Walmart), and new impacts from Wonder Lake coming in the near future, it is imperative that we have an elected mayor who will stand tall and be able to face tough decisions that are sure to come.

No longer can we afford to let our officials be elected by popularity and old-time connections instead of knowledge and qualifications.

Join me in voting April 9 for Steve Cuda as your mayor. Thanks.

Andrew “Andy” GlabMcHenry alderman
