Time for change in Cary

To the Editor:

While collecting signatures of voters against the Cary Park District’s purchase of Chalet Hills golf course last year, I was fortunate to meet Patrick Smith, an attorney who has lived in Cary for 10 years and is running for the Cary Park District Board of Commissioners. (Patrick was also against the purchase of the golf course without hearing from voters through a referendum.)

Patrick Smith is an extremely intelligent individual, involved in Cary, and cares very much about our community. This involvement and caring is reflected in his concern about the park district’s fiscal responsibility, direction and tax levies.

As a newcomer to the Cary Park District Board of Commissioners, Patrick Smith can offer a fresh perspective to the board and the direction it takes. Patrick Smith has my vote for Cary Park District Board of Commissioners on April 9.
