To the Editor:
First of all, I would like to say, “Thank you,” and, “God bless,” to Woodstock Jewel and Walgreens for allowing the Girl Scouts to sell their cookies indoors.
I can’t believe a certain store that believes in helping kids is so wrong in not allowing them to do so. What is so wrong to allow them to set up one or two small tables and a couple of chairs?
They can set up for different cellphone companies or membership to their store, but it’s a no-no for the Scouts. With the money that comes into this store, it wouldn’t hurt them.
From one former Girl Scout, “Keep up the good work.” And not only the Girl Scouts but the Boy Scouts, too.
