Electronics recycling at Nippersink school

RICHMOND – Electronics can be recycled at Nippersink Middle School on May 4.

The event, which is sponsored by the school’s parent-teacher organization, will run from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the school, 10006 N. Main St.

Cellphones, printer cartridges, gaming systems, TVs, computer monitors with screens less than 32 inches, and pretty much anything that is battery-powered or has an electrical cord can be dropped off.

The PTO is requesting a $5 donation for the disposal of TVs and monitors to cover the additional fees that come with processing them.
