Tonight's Cubs-Brewers game postponed due to inclement weather

The Cubs hoped tonight's game with the Brewers would earn them the first series win of the season.

That will have to wait.

The Cubs announced this afternoon that tonight's game at Wrigley Field – scheduled for 7:05 p.m. – is being postponed due to forecasted rain and sub-freezing windchills expected to hit Chicago this evening.

The game will be played on July 30 as part of a day-night doubleheader. The Cubs beat the Brewers 6-3 Tuesday night.

The club encourages fans to keep their tickets from tonight's game so they can be used for the July 30 date.
