Algonquin Arts Commission to hold second annual Student Art Exhibit

ALGONQUIN – The Algonquin Public Arts Commission will hold its second annual Student Art Exhibit at the William J. Ganek Municipal Center, 2200 Harnish Drive, on April 18-20.

About 35 artworks from local middle school students will be on display in a variety of different media, including painting, drawing, print and metal.

An opening reception with light refreshments will be from 6 to 8 p.m. April 18, and the exhibit will continue on display from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 19 and from 9 a.m. to noon April 20.

Both the opening reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.
