JOHNSBURG – More flooding is possible along the Fox River, the village of Johnsburg warned its residents.

The village sent out an alert to residents, advising them that it has sand and bags at the Village Hall, 1515 Channel Beach Ave., in case the additional rainfall expected for the next couple of days causes the Fox River to continue to rise.

The bags are by the front doors of the building, and the sand is available at the end of the adjacent parking lot, next to Sunnyside Park.

For information, call the Village Hall at 815-385-6023.
