HARVARD – Bullets struck a home and vehicle in Harvard on Monday night, according to the Harvard Police Department.
Police were called to the area of South Eastman and West Thompson streets around 9 p.m. for a report of shots fired, according to a news release.
Investigators later found bullets in the door of a home in the 200 block of West Thompson Street as well as a truck parked along the roadway.
No one was injured, and no suspects have been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
This is the second report of shots fired in Harvard in just over a week.
A 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital April 7 with a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening.
Police said there was a dispute in the 700 block of West Metzen Street before the shooting.
Before police arrived, three men fled the scene in a small, red passenger vehicle.
That incident remains under investigation and appears not to be related to Monday’s shooting, police said.
