ISU names 4 finalists for president

NORMAL, Ill. (AP) — Illinois State University has announced four finalists to be the school's president.

The finalists were announced Wednesday morning. ISU President Al Bowman said late last year that he is retiring for health reasons.

The list includes ISU vice president for student affairs Larry Dietz, Murray State University President Randy Dunn, Framingham State University President Timothy Flanagan and Morehead State University vice president for academic affairs Karla Hughes.

The candidates will make campus visits between April 22 and 29. ISU's search committee hopes to have a new president before the fall semester begins.
