Library, garden club to host bee program

WOODSTOCK – Solitary mason bees are an important part of the North American ecosystem.

A fun and informative program about these amazing pollinators will be at 1:30 p.m. April 28, at the Woodstock Public Library, 414 W. Judd St.

Hosted by the library and the Bull Valley Garden Club, this event for families with children in grades one through four will feature a presentation by beekeeper Melissa Hurless of the McHenry County Farm Bureau, stories, a craft and other activities.
