Sox carry four-game losing streak into series finale vs. Indians

CHICAGO – With left-hander Jose Quintana on the mound, the White Sox aim to snap their four-game losing streak in their series finale against the Cleveland Indians.

The Sox have lost 10 of their last 13 games and are off to their worst 19-game start since 2001 (also 7-12). Quintana (1-0, 2.55 ERA) has thrown 13 2/3 scoreless innings in his last two starts. In the last eight games, Sox pitchers have allowed 21 runs.

Runs have been at a premium for the Sox. They're hitting an American League worst .163 with runners in scoring position including going 0 for 10 in their last four games.

Right-hander Zach McAllister (1-2, 3.12) starts for the Indians, who are without shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera (quad) and catcher Carlos Santana (flu).
