To the Editor:
The real scary thing is that Texas Gov. Rick Perry is only saying what many of us have been privately thinking.
Economically, Illinois is not far from imploding. While our governor and legislators debate really important things in Springfield, such as whether our guns carry eight or nine rounds of ammunition, our state is in extreme trouble.
Every day I talk to residents who are in one of three categories. They either are moving out of Illinois, plan to move out of Illinois or would move out if they could. Why would anyone or any company move here now?
Please get some nerve to fix our real problems and quit worrying about the next election. Soon we may not need one.
