Sox look to snap four-game home losing streak vs. Angels

CHICAGO – The White Sox don't want to embark on their upcoming seven-game road trip with another loss at U.S. Cellular Field.

The Sox are trying to snap a four-game home losing streak tonight against the Angels. In a battle between left handers, Chris Sale (3-2, 3.42 ERA) takes the mound for the Sox while C.J. Wilson (3-1, 3.86) starts for the Angels.

In their last 22 home games against the American League West, the Sox own a 16-6 record, though they are trying to avoid getting swept by the Angels tonight.

Adam Dunn, who is hitting .137 this season with six home runs and 12 RBIs, was given the night off. Dayan Viciedo will fill in as the designated hitter while Paul Konerko starts at first base. Casper Wells starts his first home game for the Sox, playing in left field and batting seventh.
