Power restored in Woodstock

ComEd workers repair a damaged power line Monday that caused 500 Woodstock residents to lose power.

WOODSTOCK – Less than a handful of Woodstock area residents remain without power this morning after an electrical line went down on Route 14 east of Route 47, according to ComEd.

More than 2,700 residents in Dorr, Seneca and Greenwood townships lost power at around 6 a.m. Monday morning, according to the ComEd website. Crews are on the scene attempting to fix the problem.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
