Three people were transported to the hospital on Tuesday morning following a three-car accident on Route 176 near Crystal Lake, according to the Nunda Rural Fire Protection District.
Emergency crews were called to the 3000 block of Route 176 near Snap-On Tools at around 7 a.m. for a report of an accident with injuries, fire officials said. A vehicle rear-ended another vehicle in that area, which caused a third vehicle to be damaged.
Three women were transported to area hospitals with injuries that were not considered life threatening, officials said. A fourth woman was treated and released at the scene.
No other details about the incident were available.
