Trump to testify for 2nd day at Chicago trial

CHICAGO — Donald Trump will testify for a second day at a civil trial where he's accused of making false promises to entice an investor into buying condos at his Chicago skyscraper.

The defense asked if Trump could skip Wednesday's hearing and return another day. But the federal judge said too much preparation had gone into the trial and denied the request.

The Apprentice" TV star fielded questions Tuesday about the development of his glitzy Trump International Hotel & Tower.

A plaintiff's attorney balked as Trump described himself as someone who valued quality above all else.

The 66-year-old Trump told the jurors in Chicago that he didn't want to brag, but then promptly added, "I build great buildings."

The trial stems from a lawsuit filed by 87-year-old investor Jacqueline Goldberg.
