Certification prep courses begin in June

McHENRY – The McHenry County College Shah Center offers APICS Certified Production and Inventory Management certification preparation courses. Dates are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 4, 11 and 18; and from 8 a.m. to noon June 25. This program will be held at The Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry.

APICS, the Association for Operations Management, is the leader in membership, certification, and education programs for operations and supply chain management professionals. This series is being facilitated by Marty Gartner, certified APICS instructor with more than 30 years worth of materials, supply chain and project management experience. The fee for this course is $835.

Additional certification prep courses in 2013 include Execution and Control of Operations in September, and Strategic Management of Resources in November. All of these  courses have a half-day of test preparation included in the schedule.

The Shah Center courses are available to bring to a company’s facility and customizable for their needs.
