WOODSTOCK – A McHenry-area man who admitted to sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Ryan J. Frazier, 33, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. A third charge against him was dropped.

Assistant State's Attorney Sharyl Eisenstein said that in 2012 on multiple occasions Frazier sexually assaulted the victim, who was 11 years old at the time. Police at the time of his arrest said the incidents happened at his home in an unincorporated area near McHenry.

Judge Sharon Prather gave the man two consecutive sentences of eight and seven years, which he must serve consecutively. He received credit for time served since his November arrest.

Predatory criminal sexual assault is a Class X felony and is punishable by between six and 60 years in prison. Frazier is required to serve 85 percent, or 13 years, of his sentence.
