Thanks for kindness

To the Editor:

I wish to mention an act of kindness.

My husband and I are disabled seniors on limited income. Cary had wood chips for the yard, and we went to get some with our van. When we were there filling our buckets, there were two gentlemen filling large barrels and placing them into their white SUV.

They offered to fill their barrel and dump them in our van. They did this three times, and it filled our needs.

They did this out of the goodness of their hearts, and we truly appreciated their gesture. It saved us a lot of sweat and tears. We would not have been able to function the next day if we had done this on our own.

We want to give a big thank you to them. We cannot express enough our appreciation for this act of kindness.
