D26's Ferrier wins financial reporting award

CARY – The Government Finance Officers Association has awarded District 26 Director of Finance and Operations T. Ferrier an award of financial reporting achievement.

The award is given to the individual who is primarily responsible for preparing the district's award-winning comprehensive annual financial report, according to a news release from the GFOA.

Ferrier is set to leave District 26 in July and join the staff at Crystal Lake District 155 as the assistant superintendent of Finance.

Jeffrey Schubert will replace Ferrier.
