MCCD to host First Friday Concert Series in Ringwood

RINGWOOD – Sit back and enjoy a fall evening of musical entertainment with Truman’s Ridge from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday on the back patio of the Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, Route 31 and Harts Road.

Truman’s Ridge is known for its classic style, high energy, and tight bluegrass harmonies.

Attendees may bring a picnic dinner or dessert and a lawn chair and enjoy the outdoor setting under the branches of ancient oaks with stunning views of the outstretched valley.

In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors. No glass containers are allowed, and the site closes at 9 p.m.

Additional First Friday Concerts: July 5 – Potts & Pans Caribbean Jazz Combo; Aug. 2 – Cassandra Acoustic; and Sept. 9 – Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos.

Registration is not required. For information call Prairieview Education Center at 815-479-5779 or visit www.MCCDistrict.org.
