Stoka and Hanley

ALGONQUIN – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Julie Elizabeth Stoka of Algonquin and Michael Hanley of Carpentersville.

She is the daughter of Thomas and Linda Stoka of Algonquin. He is the son of Michael and Evelyn Hanley of Carpentersville.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Jacobs High School in Algonquin and a 2009 graduate of Loyola University in Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She attends the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying for a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Jacobs High School, a 2009 graduate of Loyola University with a Bachelor of Arts in communication and a Bachelor of Business in sports management, and a 2010 graduate of Loyola University with a Master of Business Administration degree.

He works for Caterpillar Inc. in Champaign.

They have plans for a July 5 wedding.
