Published: Saturday, June 8, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

FOX RIVER GROVE – The Fox River Grove Memorial Public Library, 407 Lincoln Ave., has reading clubs for children, teens and adults this summer.

Registration is underway for cardholders, but open registration starts Sunday.

For children, the library has its 2013 Summer Reading Club, “It’s a Jungle Out There: Read!” Children can report the books they’ve read each week to win prizes. They also can put in a vote for the library’s giraffe mascot and the weekly “Guess How Many?” jar.

The library hosts a summer reading program for adults and teens, too. After signing up at the desk, adults (ages 20 and up) just read and report three or more books over the course of the summer to be eligible to win raffle prizes. Teens (ages 14 to 19) read and report six or more books over the summer, with check-ins July 1 and July 27 for more prizes. Summer reading ends July 27. Prize winners will be announced July 29.
