Musgrove: Harvard chamber golf outing Wednesday

The Harvard Chamber of Commerce will host its 28th annual golf outing Wednesday at Plum Tree National Golf Club, 19511 Lembcke Road, Harvard.

The Harvard chamber’s golf outing has a reputation for being one of the best around. Shotgun start at 11 a.m.

Cost is $110, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, hot lunch, prime rib dinner and five door prize raffle tickets.

Contests include the straightest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin and the $5,000 hole-in-one prize. There also will be door prizes and a super raffle with a grand prize of $2,000. One hundred super raffle tickets will be sold. They are available for $50 each from board members or at the chamber office.

There are many sponsorship opportunities such as an exclusive tee sponsors for $100.

The golf committee includes Raul Meza of Castle Bank, Marc Hathaway of Anytime Fitness , Mic Woods of Wal-Mart and Vicki Schulz of Twin Garden Farms.

The Harvard Chamber has teamed up with the city of Harvard to bring the Tri-County Professional Rodeo to town July 26-27. The event is presented by Harvard Chevy Buick-GMC.
