Tickets to go on sale for house, garden walk

WEST DUNDEE – The Dundee Township Historical Society will present its House and Garden Walk 2013 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 22.

Sites along the way are the Dundee Township Historical Museum (1927), the Charles and Maria Unruh House (circa 1890s), the Guy and Lucinda Hall House (1903), the Emily Schweitzer House (1953), Immanuel Lutheran Church (1887), the Old Grist Mill (1845-1846), the Prendergast-Zenger garden, the McFeeley garden and the McMillan garden.

Advance tickets are available for $15 at Family Pride Cleaners, 537 S. Eighth St., West Dundee; the Old Grist Mill, 38 E. Main St., Carpentersville; and the museum, 426 Highland Ave., West Dundee. Tickets also will be available on the day of the event. For information, call 847-428-6996.
