Adult & Child Therapy Services hires new director of development
WOODSTOCK – Adult & Child Therapy Services has announced that Kristine Ensor has joined the organization as director of development. She will be working closely with volunteers and staff to raise the resources needed to fulfill ACTS’s mission.
Ensor graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2009. After graduation, she worked in marketing and administrative roles with various small businesses and nonprofit organizations. In 2011, she moved into development with the Little Angels Center for Exceptional Care in Elgin. As development coordinator, she used her marketing and communication skills to help raise funds for individuals with severe developmental disabilities.
Founded in 1949, ACTS provides physical, speech and occupational therapy to more than 300 men, women and children of all ages. This year, more than 150 children under the age of 3 will receive service from ACTS. More than 100 seniors will come for therapy, fall risk assessments and the specialized exercise program.
