VERSAILLES, Ky. – Ernie and Mary Lou Shook of Versailles, Ky., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a 1 to 4 p.m. June 29 open house at the Moose Lodge, 406 Clay St., Woodstock. The event will be hosted by their son and daughter.

Mary Lou Henehan and Ernie Shook were married Aug. 3, 1963, at St. Mary's Church in Bull Valley, Woodstock.

He was co-owner of Woodstock Lumber. He has been retired since Sept. 1, 1986.

Both enjoy golf, bridge and any horse activities.

They have a son, Brian (Veda) Shook of Washington, D.C., and a daughter, Maureen (Mark) Moran of Versailles, Ky.

They also have four grandchildren.
