WOODSTOCK – As property owners look to rebuild after the flooding this spring, Federal Emergency Management Agency staff will be in town to answer questions.

The team will be at Home Depot, 200 S. Randall Road, Algonquin, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sunday, providing information on how to rebuild in a stronger and safer way.

McHenry County property owners affected by the flooding that hit the area in April and early May have until July 9 to register for federal disaster aid.

To register:

• Call 1-800-621-3362 or TTY 1-800-462-7585 for the speech- and hearing-impaired. For those using 711-Relay or video relay services, call 1-800-621-3362.

• Go online to disasterassistance.gov or to the mobile-friendly site, m.fema.gov.

The toll-free telephone numbers will operate from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
