Paddleboard lessons offered in Crystal Lake

CRYSTAL LAKE – One-hour stand-up paddleboard lesson are being offered by the Crystal Lake Park District and Alpine Accessories.

Paddleboarding offers a full-body workout and is becoming a favorite cross-training activity for skiers, snowboarders and other athletes.

All equipment is provided.

Registration is open to individuals ages 12 and up. Participants under age 17 must have a parents sign a waiver from Alpine Accessories before the lesson. Register online at www.crystallakeparks.org

A variety of times are available on June 18, July 5 and July 29. Lessons take place at the Crystal Lake Main Beach Boat Launch Area.

The cost is $30 for residents and $37 for nonresidents
