CRYSTAL LAKE – Members of the Barrington Area Home Schoolers group will host their eighth annual Kids Toy Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Friday at Algonquin Township, 3702 Route 14.

Since 2004, the Barrington Area Home Schoolers have made contributions of more than $10,000 to Bright Hope and the project in Haiti they support.

All proceeds from the toy sale go to feed students at the Mayaya School in Haiti through Bright Hope. The group is raising money to help feed 50 children, finish building an outhouse, and support the new gardening program. For every $102 raised, Barrington Area Home Schoolers through Bright Hope will be able to feed one student for a year; $4,766 will support the entire school.

The Barrington Area Home Schoolers mission is to strengthen Christian home school families by fostering relationships, providing activities, and inspiring learning.

For information on Bright Hope, visit BrightHope.org, email at info@BrightHope.org or call 224-520-6100.
