Johnsburg library to host 'Lapsit' program for babies

JOHNSBURG – The Johnsburg Public Library, 3000 N. Johnsburg Road, will host a new early literacy class, "Lapsit," beginning this Saturday.

The program, for newborns through children age 24 months, take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 13 and Aug. 17.

Parents are encouraged to bring their baby for 30 minutes of songs, stories, movement and fingerplays.

Registration is required and can be done online at www.johnsburglibrary.org or by calling the library at 815-344-0077.
