Lake in the Hills to offer preschool summer camps

LAKE IN THE HILLS – The Lake in the Hills Preschool Academy staff has designed age-appropriate summer camp curriculums that will keep preschoolers moving, creating, laughing and learning.

The traditional Preschool Camp, for ages 3 to 5, runs Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Hain House. The week of June 25, the theme is “It’s a Jungle Out There,” and the week of July 16, it will be “Surf’s Up!” Residents pay $49 and nonresidents pay $58 a week.

The parks department also is offering a Kindergarten Readiness Camp. This camp is designed for those who will be entering kindergarten in the fall. Camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon and is $65 a week for residents and $75 for nonresidents. The parks department also is offering the option of adding on the lunch hour and staying until 1:30 p.m. for $25 for residents and $30 for nonresidents.

The theme for July 22 to July 25 is math week, the theme for July 29 to Aug. 1 is phonics week, the theme for Aug. 5 to Aug. 8 is science week, and the theme for Aug. 12 to Aug. 15 is geography week.

Registrations are accepted by mail, drop box, at Village Hall or online at www.lith.org.
