Crystal Lake Bank & Trust supports Bernie’s

CRYSTAL LAKE – Crystal Lake Bank & Trust and the Junior Savers Club are supporting Bernie’s Book Bank in its mission this year to increase book ownership among children throughout Chicagoland.

Since 2009, Bernie’s Book Bank has distributed nearly 1.5 million books to children in need in and around Chicago. With the help of local organizations, including Wintrust, Bernie’s Book Bank hopes to collect 100,000 books in 2013.

To support the cause, bring your new or gently used children’s books to Crystal Lake Bank & Trust, 70 N. Williams St., Crystal Lake, or one of its branches in McHenry, Cary, and Algonquin through Aug. 16. If you are interested in becoming a Junior Savers member, stop by any bank location for more information. Non-Junior Savers members are eligible to donate books.
