Can Congress cooperate on anything?
OK, Democrats, you still have abortion rights, but do them before 20 weeks, which the Republicans want. Do not procrastinate.
In the meantime, the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer, and the middle class are hanging on by our nails.
Former President Eisenhower – an ex-military man himself – warned Americans about the military’s never ending thirst. So true now.
And big corporations seem to be running the show. To heck with clean air or clean water or anything to do with our environment. As if we could survive without clean air or clean water. Of course, the rich and powerful could find some somewhere.
Apparently, all these things are not as important to Congress as President Obama’s birth certificate. Still? And all mishaps are his fault now. Never mind how much went on before without a peep.
Listen, we are all to blame for not voting or for voting for the same ones over and over again. For pointing out the other guys’ mistakes and not seeing our own. This is what our young people see – the collapse of common sense and logic intertwined with cooperation going, going, gone.
It’s like those feudal times of kings, queens, dukes and lords. To heck with the peasants. Again there’s trouble in the air.
