JOHNSBURG – Members of the Johnsburg Retired Rescue Squad will distribute 10,000 pounds of free food, enough for 200 families.

The event will start at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnsburg Community Club, 2315, W. Church St., Johnsburg. No numbers will be given out before 3:45 p.m.

Only one ticket is allowed per family, and food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Recipients are asked to bring their own bags or boxes to carry the food.
