Political irritants

To the Editor:

A few political points that are irritating me:

1.) If you don’t attack President Obama for the same evils that President George W. Bush did, it’s tantamount to endorsing it when Bush did it.

2.) H2 has a series called “Life After People.” It’s about what happens to infrastructure when there is no one to maintain it. That is exactly what you are advocating as a good idea when you support cutting taxes and government jobs.

3.) You can vote and take part in government, but you can’t do it if it is privatized. When you support privatization, you are supporting dictatorial rule over public institutions.

4.) If you don’t trust the press, your other news choice is a blog. They are free, unaccountable, and any idiot can write anything on them. I have one.

5.) We have done a totally free-market economy in America before. It failed horribly. Learn from the past and move on.

6.) Communism is far left. Fascism is far right. Don’t be the one that uses them interchangeably.

7.) Look up the word “unconstitutional” if you are the type that uses it a lot. You are probably the type that uses it incorrectly.

8.) Read the First Amendment. It also applies to religion. The left has forgotten this just as much as the right.

9.) To drive home the point: You can vote in a government, but not a corporation.

Don’t throw your vote away for lower taxes.
