Two new doctors join Simpson Eye

Simpson Eye has announced the addition of Dr. Sylvia Rimbergas and Dr. Charlene Morfoot.

Rimbergas is a therapeutic optometrist with more than 10 years of experience, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases such as glaucoma and diabetes while providing routine vision care for the entire family. Rimbergas was graduated from both Benedictine University and the Illinois College of Optometry with honors. She completed a hospital-based residency at Jessie Brown and Hines Chicago VA system. Rimbergas is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Morfoot is an optometrist with advanced knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. She has worked with ophthalmologists in many specialties including glaucoma, retina, oculoplastics, pediatrics and cornea. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and was graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where she achieved honors in academics and patient care. She also completed an accredited residency program in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services in New Jersey.
