COLUMBIA  — A funeral is planned for a southwestern Illinois girl who was found stabbed to death in her ex-boyfriend's home.

Services for 17-year-old Erin Schneider will be Monday morning at a funeral home in Columbia. She is to be buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. Schneider's body was found Thursday, just hours before she and 20-year-old Jordan Kuykendall were scheduled to appear in court regarding a protection order against him.

Kuykendall is held on $1 million bond on first-degree murder charges in her death. Schneider's mother had obtained the emergency protection order on her daughter's behalf two weeks earlier.
