VOLO — The weekend at the Volo Auto Museum, not only is it the Cars in Wonderland grand opening, but also featured will be the Hot Rods for Huntington’s Disease Car Show.
Radio Disney will perform at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday. And on Sunday, it’s the Princess Cabaret, with performances at noon and 2 p.m.
Additionally, on Saturday, the hot rods show to benefit the Huntington’s Disease Society of America will grace the grounds.
On both days, a bounce house will be set up indoors. A face painter will delight the kids, and a professional photographer will take souvenir photos of people inside “the funniest tow truck on earth, Tow Mater from Disney’s ‘Cars’,” Grams said. A $10 photo fee will apply.
The Hot Rods for Huntington’s Disease benefit show will feature baggo tournaments, two live bands, a silent auction and raffle. More than $7,000 in auction and raffle prizes will be distributed, including a Coach purse and a $2,600 Snap-on toolbox.
Volo Auto Museum is at 27582 Volo Village Road. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is free for members, $13.95 for adults; $8.95 for children 5 to 12; $11.95 for seniors 65 and older and for veterans and military personnel with ID; and free for children younger than 5, as well as military personnel in uniform.
