Historical society to raffle one-of-a-kind pendant

UNION – The stone is filled with flashes of light. Like a bolt of lightning, pietersite discharges negative energies and emotional turmoil.

Studio 2015 Jewelry in Woodstock has created a one-of-a-kind 41-count pietersite gemstone featuring a variety of quartz, plus tiger’s eye, hawk’s eye and jasper.

Studio 2015 estimates the necklace’s retail value, including a silver oxidized neck wire, at $3,200.

“The Tempest” is being raffled for the benefit of the McHenry County Historical Society. Tickets are $20 each, and the total number to be sold is 300. Tickets will be available for purchase starting Sunday at the Society’s Heritage Fair. The drawing will be Nov. 2 at the society’s 50th anniversary dinner at the Starline Factory in Harvard.

To buy a ticket, stop by or call the society at 815-923-2267 or email info@mchsonline.org. For details, contact Studio 2015 Jewelry at www.studio2015.com.
