MCC seeks presenters for educators' conference

CRYSTAL LAKE – McHenry County College is seeking presenters for its Nov. 9 Early Childhood Educators’ Conference.

Sponsored by MCC’s Workforce and Community Development Division, the Early Childhood Educators’ Conference provides information and training for early childhood professionals. The conference runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature keynote speaker Daniel Hodgins, internationally renowned presenter and author of two books and numerous publications on child development. 

Prospective presenters are invited to submit workshop proposals for breakout sessions at the conference. Workshops are 75 minutes in length and geared to those who work with young children (infants through age 8). 

Suggested topics include classroom management, special needs and hands-on activities in science, math, art, language and large motor areas.
